Podiatry in Brighton & Hove

John Lewis BSc (Hons) graduated from the University of Brighton in 2002 with a first class honours degree in Podiatry. His specialist interest lies within the field of biomechanics and injury management, and has attended a number of post graduate courses within this area. John is qualified in the use of acupuncture for the lower limb, sport massage and has attended courses regarding the prescription and manufacture of orthoses. John is qualified to administer local anaesthetics, facilitating nail surgery procedures. He is also happy to see clients for general chiropody/podiatry treatments.

John’s interest in biomechanics and injury partly stems from his own participation in and enjoyment of sport. John played rugby at Hove RFC for many years and where he is now actively involved with mini rugby coaching. His principle sporting activity now is running. John ran the 2004 London Marathon (he was extremely pleased to finish ahead of a rubber rhinoceros), and the 2010 Brighton Marathon.

John is qualified as a Podiatrist with The Health Professions Council and the Royal College of Podiatry.
