John Lewis BSc (Hons) graduated from the University of Brighton in 2002 with a first class honours degree in Podiatry. His specialist interest lies within the field of biomechanics and injury management, and has attended a number of post graduate courses within this area. John is qualified in the use of acupuncture for the lower limb, sport massage and has attended courses regarding the prescription and manufacture of orthoses.
John’s interest in biomechanics and injury stems from his own participation in sport. Having now retired from playing rugby, his principle sporting activity is running (he was extremely pleased to finish ahead of a rubber rhinoceros at the 2004 London Marathon!).
